Obama Kills One Teen While Mourning Another

Invitations to the After Party

On February 26, 2012, according to reports, Trayvon Martin was gunned down and killed in Florida.   Martin, age 17, was found unarmed.  Being a black teenager from Florida, his death made national headlines.  This has resulted in a cable news media frenzy. There is much controversy regarding his death but one thing is certain:

The opportunistic President Obama and propaganda-filled media wasted no time using this tragedy to further racially divide this country.

A week ago, President Obama made no qualms about how he felt about the death of Martin, stating that his death warrants serious “soul searching” and an “investigation.” He went on to say, “You know, if I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon. I think they are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves and that we’re going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened.”

The death of Trayvon Martin is tragic and many questions remain to be answered. So do the murders and slayings of so many other Americans that occur daily in our inner cities of every ethnicity.

The question begs, why is the country so fascinated, and outraged, over Trayvon Martin when countless other tragedies occur on a daily basis?

The opportunist President Obama and propaganda-filled media wasted no time turning this tragedy in to a means to further racially divide this country. It was only a few months ago President Obama announced his “African Americans for Barack Obama” initiative. Just imagine former President Clinton or Bush launching, “Whites for Bush/Clinton.” The backlash and fury from something so blatantly insensitive and offensive would have never been acceptable from any side of the political spectrum.

One should also be suspect of Vice President Biden whom made it clear Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” gun law (a law that allows someone to shoot in self-defense if they feel threatened) will be a topic of debate in the near future.

Just as Fast and Furious was a government-manufactured, some critics claim inside-job, with the idea of the federal government enacting tougher gun laws.  One should question the sincerity of the government whenever they mention tougher gun laws.  As George Washington once stated, “A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.”

We only need to look throughout history to see how gun control has been a vital part of propping up some of the most evil dictators. Americans cherish their second amendment rights but as every year goes by our government continues to encroach on them.

One must not forget, guns do not kill people, people do. Just as a fork does not make a person fat, neither does a gun kill.

Critics of these events have pointed to blatant propaganda from the mainstream media and the manipulation from our President.  These critics have gone to claim he has created a situation where people have reacted strongly with emotions based on a black hate crime; thus propelling his ratings.  One must remember that racism is a condition of the heart and the longer we allow our government officials, the media, and alternative news sources to racially divide us we will continue to fight amongst each other and hate crimes will continue to ensue. All crimes should be investigated fully; regardless of race before conclusions of any kind are made. A picture circulating the internet with a chocolate, yellow and black lab in it actually sums it up well. The caption in the picture says, “Now explain that again. We are different, how?”

Rather than President Obama using Trayvon Martin as a distraction, he owes the entire country an explanation for the intentional murder of Abdulrahman al-Awlaki

Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, a 16 year old American citizen who was born in Denver, was killed in late 2011 by executive orders from President Obama via drone attacks in Yemen.  This just two weeks after a drone attack intentionally killed his father, Anwar al-Awlaki, also an American citizen.  One may come to the very plausible assumption that the President wants to sweep these unconstitutional murders under the rug, perhaps using a tragic death like Martin’s as a diversion to what is really happening under his watch.
